Milcon was awarded the Versailles North West Street Extension in the Spring of 2018. The project entailed extending North West Street 1,860’from Jackson Street to Baker Road including new storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main, curbs, side walk and asphalt paving. The sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main was also replaced on Jackson Street. The most challenging parts of the project was the wet site conditions due to higher that average rain fall and installing the new 48”storm sewer that averaged 18’ deep. We installed 3,300’of storm sewer ranging from 12”-48”, 2,900’of 8”sanitary sewer, 3,300’of water main ranging from 8”-12”. The project was completed 1.5 months ahead of schedule thanks to the hard work of our crews, subcontractors and The Village of Versailles.
